Hotel am Hafen stands right on the harbour in Havelberg. A quiet stay by the water, the island town on foot. Rooms look to the harbour or to Bahnhofstraße. Our tip is the water side. On the ground floor is the Italian restaurant Mezza Luna.
Where it is
Bahnhofstraße 39 a+b, 39539 Havelberg, right on the yacht harbour. Island town and cathedral are on foot (the cathedral about 10 to 15 minutes). Parking at the hotel and on the street. Boat guests moor almost at the door; the Havel Cycle Route is close by.

Restaurant Mezza Luna
On the ground floor of the hotel is Trattoria & Gelateria Mezza Luna: pizza, pasta, meat and fish, a wide choice of ice cream and a terrace to the harbour. Open Tuesday to Sunday 11:00 to 23:00, Monday closed. For Friday to Sunday a reservation is a good idea.
A short story
Before Havelberg had a closed harbour, loading points lay here. Tug trains and steamers ran parallel to today’s Uferstraße and Bahnhofstraße. With the Havel cut-through and the lock in the 1930s the waterfront changed. After 1990 water tourism came to the front: the cargo ground became the yacht harbour. Hotel am Hafen is one of the houses right on the promenade. After a vacant spell Agnieszka and Markus Hinz took the house on and opened it again with self check-in.
