Havelvorland sits on the water in front of the island town. Numbers 1 to 5 belong to the listed ensemble of the old town. Number 1 is listed as a granary. The brick house next door at Havelvorland 2 is the Alter Kornspeicher: once a store for grain by the river, now a renovated house with modern apartments.

Outside you still read the old storehouse. Inside the units are set up for self-catering, with a kitchen, a bathroom of your own and often a view of the Havel. A lift links the floors. Key boxes at the door mean you can arrive without a fixed reception hour. There is a snack machine in the house (debit card; off from 22:30 to 6:00). Right on the water is the Hoffnung restaurant boat for lunch and dinner when it is open.
